Happy Dirtday!

Hello! Thanks for taking time to stop it today.  I bought this stamp set with my son, Mason, in mind. He's very much a 2 year old and loves trucks and dirt! This card was CASEd from Heather Summers @ www.stampwithheather.typepad.ca  I love her style! Here's a quick "how-to" for you:
Tear some Early Espresso or Chocolate Chip card stock and sponge the edges to make it look like dirt. Use the 1 3/8" scallop circle to punch some clouds and then run them through the Big Shot using the Textured Lattice embossing folder.  For the dump truck, I coloured it in using Stampin' Write Markers and fussy cut each piece. I used a circle punch for the tires. I popped all the pieces up using dimensionals. To flag the edges of the "happy dirtday" sentiment, either use a square punch or plain old scissors. I used a bone folder to curl the sentiment and then adhered with a couple dimensionals (one at each end). Pretty simple, hey? If you want, you could use some brads in the tire for the hubcaps/wheel to add some metal in there! :)

This would be great for a truck-lovin' boy or a boy at heart!

Enjoy your day!

Tamara
